Sunday I had another go with The Men Who Would be Kings in a small Isandlwana setting. Hindsight I realised that the Brits were under sized compared to the last game. Next time I will arrange the Brits lengthways so will have more room and have flanks. I’m finding the rules a bit simple.

Casualties removed. The Zulu units are about 75% intact. Brits would be wiped out next turn.

Played out last turn of #Midgard #Oldhammer. Empire got their act together and put in a bunch of charges. Hildegaard cast "weakness" on the Rat Ogre then it got hacked to bits by halberdiers. Pikes charged Darktan and his Warp Glaive cut the Man-things down, but pierced by several piles he died.

Empire charges all across the battlefield

Darktan kills many Man-things but dies a Legendary death. Men, rats, him, everyone dies

Halberds going after Eat Ogre. Even with being Brutal and having magical help, the beast was tough to kill

Kirov factory developed a replacement for the ISU-152 on the new IS-3 chassis in 1945. The army took its time in giving permission to start trials, and even trials of the gun only began #OTD in 1945. By the time the vehicle was ready, the army lost interest. #tanks #history

20 September 1944 British paratroopers holding Arnhem Bridge are overrun after three days and four nights of heavy fighting. Allied ground forces were supposed to have relieved them after 48 hours. Their last radio transmission simply says: "Out of ammunition. God save the King." #WW2 #History
