Albanians with base colours and wash down. Started a few highlights to test some colours on the front few. Not sure I’ve quite got the right sleeves with the right tops on some of them. Very confusing

The base hasn’t warped… yet! 28mm Russian Napoleonic artillery wagon. It’s a 3d print, still prefer metal or plastic has to be said. I need to give it a coat of matt varnishes as there’s a couple of glossy bits.

Got bases undercoated and first drybrush on Russians. Built up bases on ottomans as wasn’t happy with them. So they’ll need to dry. First dry brush on some of the acw bases as well.

My mate has done a great job on this #oldhammer dragon. The fit was really bad and I had little chance with my hand of doing a good job. Now it’s pinned, sculpting over the gaps and he’s only gone and magnetised the 3 heads so I can change them over!!

Got these two to the same stage. Basecoat and thinned wash. Then a light drybrush of the base colour to remove any streaking from the wash. Next up lots of drybrushing!

Battlewagon tidied up as best it can be with the damage from the polystyrene cement. Missing a wheel scythe - first attempt at casting with blue stuff wasn’t successful but not as far off as expected

Couldn’t face painting today so prep work on Brigade and Perry Ottomans. Some picked up yesterday at Britcon. The Albanians match in very well but not so much with the janissaries - the Perrys have much bulkier clothes and are quite large sculpts. Both nice but I’ll make it work

Trial for some wound markers - sand on and waiting to dry. These are on 20mm rounds. My shock markers to match are on 25mm to differentiate.

Cleaned up lots of thick polystyrene cement off the model. Lots some rivets and bits but think it will be okay with some rust/corrosion added. Tread sourced, now just need to cast a scythe for the wheel. Then make a banner pole!
