Prolific rape and pedophile defender Michael Tracey is now melting down over the backlash to him doxxing Jane Doe and lying that he never did it. Even though he admitted to it in the same day
Someone described as a "CNN Creator" put out this video claiming I called for the "doxxing" of Jane Doe, and now a nationwide movement has been sparked against me. I NEVER CALLED FOR "DOXXING." CNN APPARENTLY OPPOSES WHAT IS CALLED "REPORTING" ON CLAIMANTS IN CIVIL PROCEEDINGSAfter identifying Jane Doe earlier tonight, I have now removed the information I published. Why? Because the principle has been served: to underscore that permanently anonymizing litigants who make sensational, spectacular, reputation-destroying claims about others -- so long as they can self-declare some form of victimization -- cannot be countenanced.

It's destructive, and an egregious abuse of the legal system by huckster plaintiff's lawyers. This practice has to end. Lawyers who seek to monetize this sleazy tactic should have to think A LOT HARDER about the claims they're willing to throw out into the public domain, using impressionable clients who may not even know what they're getting themselves into.

So why have I now removed her information?

Because I don't believe she's the main "villain" here. I primarily blame the bottom-feeding, media-manipulating, sleazebag lawyers who've made a whole cash-grab industry out of this racket.

Thomas Giuffra in particular has a lot to answer for. He's the central reason for the

NEW: According to a bombshell report in the New York Times, Anthropic co-founder Chris Olah threatened to walk out of Pope Leo XIV's Al encyclical launch in May because the pope rejected the idea that machines can be conscious.
Olah's team then privately lobbied the pope's advisers "to take the possibility of model consciousness seriously." Pope Leo XIV held firm.
For months, Anthropic has wined and dined theologians and religious scholars under nondisclosure agreements, hoping they would bless the idea that Claude has moral standing.

FATALITY
A tweet from Joyce Carol Oates: overall takeaway from the Curtis Yarvin profile is that there must be millions of smart-aleck show-offy kids who annoy their teachers and go on to annoy other adults through their lives with their “contrarian” pose that hardens to a carapace over their faces; until, as adults, they still harbor a delusion that, if there is a king, or a fuhrer, he’d be impressed with the guys motor mouth and appoint him to his cabinet rather than deleting him with a negligent swipe of his wrist as Stalin did routinely.

Also, I’d imagine, when the cap is as low as MLS has it, it doesn’t really take a lot to make people question whether you’re cheating. Otoh, the EPL being the wild Wild West of soccer money, you can create plausible deniability for more than a decade, despite the masses knowing you’re a cheat

Alessandro Acquistapace-Volpe @acquistapace.bsky.social · 30/09/2026
90% of MLS believe Inter Miami has been breaking the rules despite their roster moves mostly tracking well inside the cap, the same happened for a decade before that to the Galaxy (both teams that, when cheated, actually paid the price). Methinks breaking rules in MLS is slightly harder than EPL

It’s crazy to think that when Oasis came out, their music was already a regressive conservatory movement hoping for a return to a better past and playing music from 30 years earlier, and now we’re 30 years past that and people still find they have something to say

In a just world all the fuss of the past year+ for the Oasis reunion is for a New Order reunion. If we have to be nostalgic (derogatory) bc the internet has eroded our sense of time and hope for a Mancunian couple that has fought to get back together, we may as well hope for the one good at music

On the other hand: Italian speakers will find the game between Atlanta and NYCFC highly amusing because it featured starting on the same flank, but for opposing teams, a player named “horse” and another named “gallop”
A screenshot from @futi.live of the starting elevens of NYCFC and Atlanta. High kites are two players named Cavallo and Galoppo which in Italian mean respectively “horse” and “gallop”

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team in MLS where all the pieces look good on paper like it should all work out but then ends up sucking like NYCFC this year. I rate the coach, the DP trio, the back line, I ideally rate the midfield although injuries make it hit or miss, i rate some back ups… and yet

If an internationally-wanted war criminal (whose forces have killed Americans) comes to US soil, attacks Americans (including the mayor of the largest city), and then says "Remember the beepers" in reference to a terrorist attack he committed — how can that be taken as anything other than a threat?

The Connecticut Sun's final game is tonight. Connecticut and its fans bought into the WNBA at its low point, turning a profit when the NBA's owners saw the league as a moneypit, only to lose their team now that everyone sees big bucks in women's sports. Some thoughts on the setting of the Sun:
Surprisingly, moving the team to Connecticut worked. In 2010, the Sun became the first WNBA team to turn a profit — during a global recession, and during the league’s nadir of popularity. The casino in the middle of nowhere became a fortress. The Sun has won 64.5 percent of its home games. It developed a real fanbase and made four WNBA Finals.

The Connecticut Sun is not the first WNBA team to die. (Enjoy this haunting image of the mascots for the Sacramento Monarchs, Utah Starzz, Detroit Shock, and yes, the Houston Comets, hanging out, smiling, not realizing that death will soon come for them.)

But it’s the first WNBA team to die for this reason: Not because nobody cared, not because it couldn’t make money, not because it couldn’t find fans or win games, not because the league is shrinking … but actually because the league is growing. The Sun helped the WNBA survive, but the period of mere survival is over. The league is moving on to bigger markets and bigger money and leaving Connecticut behind.

unfortunately until further notice and until we completely restructure the way we do sports, toxic parents are still a thread connecting a huge number of top level athletes, and at some point, that's just how it is, and even if we improved, I don't think we could ever fully stop that
