I didn’t expect Sinead O’Connor to go so young. An extraordinarily complicated, often difficult person who stood her ground about what she cared about, and suffered enormously for it. Ireland owes her a debt, she stood up against theocracy when it was career suicide to do so. I hope she found peace.
