By law the city has to make up any park space that they take away, so you have to take that into account as well. But I do think there is an appetite to change the park. I'm sure a lot of people would love using it for other purposes.

A Seattle PD officer ran his son's information through Washington State's law enforcement criminal history database (ACCESS). Not supposed to search people in ACCESS without a valid law enforcement purpose. He got a written reprimand.

The problem with education is that it's a solved problem. Students need small classes, individual attention, lots of writing, lots of feedback, access to a well-stocked library, time to think, and time to talk with their peers. We just don't like the answer, so we keep trying to do other stuff.
