I wrote some modules for Cam/Daylight Publications back in 2023/2024 or so, but that was also around the time I started hearing about his gross ass behavior, so I cut ties with him. 1/ TW for Sexual Harassment in the document

This isn't everything, but this is the account of what happened in the past few days with DayLITE/Cam from my experience because it needed saying And if you want to know why he disappeared, I suggest you give it a read docs.google.com/document/d/1...

docs.google.com

My experience with DayLITE

I apologise if this doesn’t make sense, it has been a very stressful, sleep deprived weekend of dealing with Cam’s actions. I wasn’t going to make this post originally because I thought I’d gotten off...

Cyrus: This Barbie has Comms Open @yoits8bit.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

I haven't worked for Daylite in a year. My former contact with Cam was just so I could guarantee id finish being paid, but Cam blocked me so I assume I'm not getting my money. My heart goes out to the people that experienced the sexual harassment from him he deserves to be called out for his actions

Cyrus: This Barbie has Comms Open @yoits8bit.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

When the truth of it is Daylite sales are so bad that hundreds of artist created thousands of dollars worth of work and got pennies for it. All we got was an apology and then an invite to a server where Cam could get more free art by labeling it a passion project. which is slime ball shit (4/4)

020

Cyrus: This Barbie has Comms Open @yoits8bit.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

Cam used artists with small followings, little industry experience and a passion for ttrpgs to get free art, writing, and ideas to churn out content under the promise that their work will turn into livable passive income based on royalties so that they were fine not being paid upfront. (3/4)

020

Cyrus: This Barbie has Comms Open @yoits8bit.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

I waited a good several months with nopayment but got an invitation to an rp server that I did not participate in. Months after that I askd for my payment and was given $50 on two separate occasions. Cam still owes me $185 dollars as well as a lot of artist money for the work he scammed (2/4)

Cyrus: This Barbie has Comms Open @yoits8bit.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

As someone who has worked for and is still owed money by Cam / Daylite this shit tracks. I did work for Daylite to get into doing art for the TTRPG community and created $285 worth of work that only ever made me $2 in royalties. When Cam got called out he agreed to pay me the $285 (1/4)

On the topic of Scarecrows and Wizards… Super happy with how this one turned out. Thank you to whoever tuned into my art streams while I was completing it. And big thank you to @yoits8bit.bsky.social for keeping me company through most of it. Never stop yapping, pookie #Daggerheart #DigitalArt

Art Noveau inspired illustration of Hugo Husk, a character from The Last Arcanist Daggerheart actual play. They are a scarecrow with corn husk hair and a pointed orange nose, dressed in a green tunic, orange blouse and brown pants. They sit on a stump covered in moss and mushroom and leans against his staff, a gnarly organic stick with a sunflower and what at its top. They are framed by a cold rectangle, at the top left a large sunflower blooms over a field of mushrooms, on the bottom right two corn cobs are surrounded by green husk, also on a field of mushrooms. At the top right a star burst sits in front of a blue moon with a yellow eye at its center. The background of the gold frame shows a field of wheat, pink clouds and a gradient of twilight colors with a field of eyes instead of stars.
