I can already imagine the media narratives of embarrassing failure, progressive politics is dead, Polanski must resign, it's all the Zionism is Racism motion's fault. Remember to keep this context in mind.

Meanwhile this week the homes of asylum seekers in Salford were attacked and South Asian taxi drivers were racially abused on the street. Burnham did not condemn this racism and said the violent racist thugs in Gosport were “intimidation” but didn’t say “racist”, he talked about their “concerns”

The country does not look like a UKIP wet dream right now because they got into power. Keir Starmer was not removed because The Greens are going to win the next election. Disciplining the Labour party is THE crucial use of the Greens right now. Before you even get to it just being morally correct.

The most dangerous bigotry in the UK which should be the EHRC's top priority. It is particularly impactful because it is spread between legislators and those they frequently communicate with. The conspiratorial nature means the potential extent of future harm is limitless. Transphobia very similar.

Okay, this idea that it's impossible to interact with people in society without being able to see their faces is: 1. Something that should be obviously false to anyone who has ever had a phone conversation. 2. Multiply ableist in its implications re masking, neurodivergence, blindness, etc.

This isn't hypothetical or subtle. DHS literally used "Which way, American man?" to recruit. That's a reference to a book that claims there's a conspiracy by "world Jewry" to destroy Western civilization, quotes the Protocols, and is published by the National Alliance, a neo-Nazi group.

The conspiracy driving this crackdown on immigrants has always been built on this antisemitic foundation: the claim that “someone” is orchestrating the replacement of white Americans. Recruit people who believe that, and some of them will tell you exactly who they think is to blame.

Welcome to the UK, where using the magic word ‘trans’, allows you to skip standard process with no evidence of harm or wrongdoing. Just send a complaint! We all know they wouldn’t take the same action for any other form of healthcare. @plaidcymru.bsky.social cavuhb.nhs.wales/our-services...
What evidence is there that patients were referred inappropriately?
At this stage, it is not known if patients have been referred inappropriately. The purpose of the Independent Clinical Review is to assess this.Have any patients undergone surgery inappropriately?
At this stage, the NWJCC has not identified any patients who have undergone surgery inappropriately.
However, there are cases where patients have been referred into the surgical pathway but have not gone on to have surgery, including where NHS England providers have identified that referral criteria had not been met. It is also recognised that concerns have been raised by some patients about the referral
process.
The purpose of the current review is to better understand these concerns and provide assurance that patients are being appropriately supported, assessed and referred, and that the necessary clinical governance arrangements are in place.Does this mean patients may have come to harm?
No immediate patient safety concerns have been identified by the NWJCC, and therefore they are not concluding that patients have come to harm.
However, concerns have been raised through complaints to the NWJCC, correspondence, and other information received about the gender affirming surgery pathway. As a precautionary measure, referrals, surgical assessments, and surgery are paused while further review work is undertaken.
These prompt actions have been taken to ensure any potential risks
are identified and addressed as quickly as possible, and that patients continue to receive safe and high-quality care.

The Israeli Defence Minister on TV explaining in detail exactly what the IDF have been doing all along and what the plan is now.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz:
We destroyed 70% of Gaza. We destroyed areas in southern Lebanon; we ruined dozens of villages that served as Hezbollah strongholds.
We evacuated 200,000 residents.
We conquered the refugee camps in the West Bank. The IDF stayed inside. 40,000 residents were evacuated and didn't return.
The IDF destroyed infrastructure there, killed terrorists, and it is still inside.Today, between 60% and 70% of Gaza is desolate.
There is still work to do, but about 70% of the area is desolate-without residents, without houses, without tunnels.BIG: Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on Gaza:
There is no real solution for Gaza in the end without this migration. By the way, 80% want to migrate; it's checked constantly in surveys.
Hamas doesn't allow them, and there are no countries in the world that will take them.
We are fully prepared to move them out if it becomes possible-by sea, by air, by every way possible. Egypt is not willing, so it won't be through them.
What's delaying it is that the accepting countries want US support. Every country that is willing wants American backing. Currently, President Trump didn't cancel this; he froze it.
All the Arab countries came to him due to their pressure on this matter. The moment will come. When will it come?
When it becomes clear that Hamas is not meeting its commitment. Then we will get a green light to move forward militarily, territorially, and in other areas, and this thing will gain momentum.

It's very important that we (left, pro-Palestine) learn antisemitic tropes and avoid and discourage their use. However, when spoken about in vagaries, it is an Islamophobic trope: Muslims are bringing antisemitism to the West and have captured institutions alongside their leftist co-conspirators.
