#Fungi #MushroomMonday Nothing says October like mushrooms, especially decrepit Inky Caps.

A mushroom, well past its prime, standing in front of bright green blades of grass. The mushroom cap is slightly inverted with brownish scales on the crown, the rim has turned black and tattered black bits hang down from it. The stipe is a mottled brown & beige.
