#FallColour A beautiful view on the north side of the river, after the fog had lifted yesterday. Once the sun was out, the autumn colours glowed.

#Arachtober #Spider I was shooting Chickadees hunting insects roadside when, the tiniest bit of red caught my eye. Not of fan of spiders😨, but that didn't stop me from taking the shot.

A somewhat bristly spider clings to a stem. Being backlit by the sun, a part of one leg appears red.

#Fungi #MushroomMonday Nothing says October like mushrooms, especially decrepit Inky Caps.

A mushroom, well past its prime, standing in front of bright green blades of grass. The mushroom cap is slightly inverted with brownish scales on the crown, the rim has turned black and tattered black bits hang down from it. The stipe is a mottled brown & beige.

#SundayYellow Same as the last 2 days, the fog is so thick I can barely see more than 2 houses away from mine. Yesterday it didn't lift until 3 pm. So, I am using pics from last weekend.
