Si uno de los objetivos últimos es desincentivar fiscalmente que las personas (físicas o jurídicas) acaparen propiedades para lucrarse entiendo que lo esencial sería reformar el IBI para que fuese una especie de impuesto progresivo, como el IRPF. A nadie le saldría a cuenta "invertir" en viviendas.

Una propuesta que podría ser más popular en el tema de vivienda es la de tirar abajo infraviviendas (pisos) de la época franquista y hacer en su lugar torres algo más altas y con condiciones mucho mejores. Todo el mundo gana en calidad de vida y se crean nuevas viviendas en zonas tensionadas.

El crecimiento de las baterias ha comenzado muy lentamente pero en los próximos meses se va a hacelerae mucho. Creo que en 2027 veremos varios GW de baterias puestas en servicio, muchas en proyectos hibridados. La energía solar que puede dar electridad las 24h del dia está llegando a España rápido.

Cuando Trump ganó su segundo mandato pensé que eran malas noticias para el clima. A día de hoy parece claro que lo que está haciendo, de hecho, ayuda a la descarbonizacíón planetaria. Así que en esto estaba equivocado, aunque no era fácil imaginar todo lo que iba a pasar desde enero de 2025.

I think predicting what will happen with AI investment in 2032 is quite risky, especially if efforts to commoditize its use succeed (see China, Jev, etc). Right now, in the US, it ranks above highways and the space race, but well below the railroad boom.

Maybe one way to think about Europe’s (and especially Germany’s) current political economy issues is the erosion of various legacy technological rents that could be/were redistributed without (unlike the US) a fresh set of technological rents that could (at least in theory in US) be redistributed?
