I'm on a state work group discussing this very subject and get em. (though caveat: you gotta be careful when discussing PE. Lots of companies that aren't PE do the stuff PE does. Much better to curb businesses who engage in those PE behaviors from owning practices).

Andy Beshear has an entire chapter in his new book about backing the LGBTQ community and it's worth a read. He talks about how the anti-trans ads were tested in KY during his election and how vetoing anti-trans legislation didn't hurt his reelection campaign.
However the anti-trans ads had less to do with Kentucky and more to do with the fact that we were in an election. Terry Schilling, the head of the APP, decided to test the ads in our election to determine whether or not the issue could win votes for the Republican Party. Earlier in the summer of 2019, Scholling had partnered with a behavioral science firm to try to find a wedge issue that resonated with suburban voters. That's right. The anti-trans ads did not come out of some firmly held conviction but was a purely political stance. Their research landed on trans athletes, specifically trans women, competing in women's sports. They tested their theory in the 2019 Kentucky gubernatorial general election. Although I won, APP considered their test successful, because their research showed the ads delivered thirteen thousand votes for Trump Lite, which made the race tighter than anticipated. You might hask how, in this political climate, I was reelected after vetoing the anti-trans bill. Because people respect authentic faith. The day I vetoed it, I explained my why. I said I believe all children are children of God and that I don't want people picking on these kids. I then countered their anti-trans ads with commercials talking about good jobs, healthcare, roads and bridges, public education, and public safety. The result? The biggest win of my career. So don't tell me the Democratic Party should stop fighting for the rights of all people. Just explain your authentic why, and then get back to focusing on issues that touch all our lives on a daily basis.

When I was in undergrad I was saved by a guardian angel. Decades later I understand they were two unicorns, two male friends from my dorm who were in attendance with me at a house party, saw I was dangerously inebriated, and with one of my girlfriends hauled me home to the safety of my bed.

The real solution is collective, not individual: "Based on her study of more than 150 tribal societies, she identified what makes a society or culture “rape prone,” “rape free,” or something between the two.... in rape-free cultures, women have far more authority, status, safety, and freedom."

This is reminiscent of a longstanding neo-Nazi talking point about the supposed evil of foods labeled Kosher. All part of some plot to destroy white Christian America. This is from The Thunderbolt in 1977.
TODAY IN AMERICA-1977
We are All in slavery once more. Only this time it is white and black alike. All of the Non-Jews, regardless of color. The slavery today is mild compared to that which is to come.
"MASTER", THE JEW.
WE ARE ALL WORKING FOR OUR NEW
If you think not, go to your kitchen and get out any dozen cans of different foods, scouring powder, soap, cooking oils, Crisco, Reynolds Wrap, salt, etc. Almost anything you eat or use for washing. Examine the labels of these cans or boxes carefully for either a little
"U" in a circle or a "K".
, in a circle. The "U" means
Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America and the "K" stands for Kosher. You will find these Jew symbols on most of your groceries. The manufacturers are forced to PAY the Jews to put this symbol called a
"Hechsher" on their labels and PAY the rabbi for this certification. Now you PAY the master when you buy your groceries.
The Wall Street Journal on April 23, 1959 revealed that grocery companies were paying HUNDREDS OF MIL LIONS OF DOLLARS to put those Kosher symbols on their labels. Now in 1977 it must be BILLIONS OF DOLLARS, since they have almost every product under their thumb.
WHERE THE KOSHER MONEY GOES:
Part of the money goes for buying up all of the news media in America such as T.V. and Newspapers. Jews now own or control all of the TV networks, NBC, CBS and ABC, and own or control all of the major newspapers. In 1860 the slaves were not allowed to learn to read or write, so they would only know what the master wanted them to know. Today we can read and write, but our Jew master controls the TV and the newspapers, so we only know what the new Master wants us to know.
Part of the money goes for purchase of the apartment houses which the poorest slaves must live in. Who owns all of the rat-trap apartments in the poor neighborhoods in all of the big cities in America? The Jewish master, that's who. When a rat bites your child at night you can bet one never bit your Jew landlord's, bec…

A thought exercise for transphobic Democrats: replace the "transgender" with "Jewish" in the ads and notice how uncomfortable you suddenly get. There is slightly more trans people in the U.S. (0.95%) than German Jews (0.75%) before the Holocaust. Can't you see how dangerous your slippery slope is?
