I didn't take pics but the feeling of being in a group of people with no visible beginning or end was so thrilling. For almost 2 weeks, Badar Khan Suri was kept in a room without a bed & with TV blaring 21 hrs/day. He was given used underwear & red uniform "usually reserved" for "high security" detainees. Not allowed to spend more than 2 hrs/week outside dorm. His little son has stopped talking in his absence.

A US-born citizen was walking near Chicago in January. ICE snatched him off the street, handcuffed him, threw into a van. His wallet, which contained his ID, was confiscated. He was detained for 10 hours before being released without a record of what occurred. immigrantjustice.org/sites/defaul...

"Julio Noriega is 54 years old, was born in Chicago, and is a U.S. citizen.

On January 31, 2025, he was walking near the corner of Cermak Road and Harlem Avenue in Berwyn, Illinois, handing out his resume to local businesses.

As he walked out of a Jiffy Lube, he was approached by ICE officers who grabbed and handcuffed him and put him into a van, without an opportunity to explain his citizenship.

The officers drove Julio and others around for more than an hour before bringing him to an ICE processing center, where he remained, still handcuffed, for several more hours.

All the while, Julio had a wallet containing identification that ICE had confiscated.

The officers never showed Julio a warrant, and they did not ask him any questions to ascertain whether he was a noncitizen or a flight risk.

After about 10 hours, ICE officers reviewed the contents of Julio’s
wallet, realized he was a U.S. citizen, and released him with no money and no paperwork."

Yeesh. They don't put fluoride in their water because they put it in other things, or the water already has sufficient fluoride in it.

Q: Europe doesn’t fluoridate its water, so why should we?

A: Anti-fluoride activists imply that European countries have rejected fluoridation, but this assertion is misleading because these nations use various means to provide fluoride to their citizens. For example, salt fluoridation is widely used in Europe. In fact, at least 70 million Europeans consume fluoridated salt, and this method of fluoridation reaches most of the population in Germany and Switzerland. These two countries have among the lowest rates of tooth decay in all of Europe. Fluoridated milk programs reach millions of additional Europeans. A number of areas in Italy have water supplies with natural fluoride levels that already reach the optimal level that prevents decay. This is a major reason why Italy does not have a national program for water fluoridation. Finally, some countries in Europe do elect to adjust fluoride levels in community water systems. Fluoridated water is provided to 12 million Europeans, mostly reaching residents of Great Britain, Ireland, and Spain.
