The violence of this evil can never be undone. It may come to an end one day. Folk may be reunited with loved ones should any survive. I finished reading the second brilliant volume of “Womanist Midrash” today. I think my favorite part might be the last chapter, “A (Revised) Note on Translating” which maybe doesn’t on its face sound as profound as it is, but it really is. I’d read a whole book of that stuff too.
