Still, please don't start Posting™ about it. I'll post here if anything interesting happens. I work in the Regional Hospital in southern Irkutsk, so we aren't far from where the woman died, but we're not expecting anything particularly big. (do not do anything with that last bit of info)

We haven't heard anything about additional cases/deaths here as of now. There's a very minimal chance of that happening - the droplets can't travel further than a few feet - but this particular form of plague can kill very quickly and suddenly, so it has caused some alarm.

The hospital I work in stopped admitting visitors four days ago. People are allowed to send packages to people inside, but they have to be cleaned + delivered by us. There are no reported cases in this hospital specifically, but they're quarantining people both immediately east and west of here.
