Have been designing dragon gods for my home game, once I get my MCDM Where Evil Lives campaign down to a reliable cycle. Man, I love top down world building; but I am increasingly aware that I write almost exclusively around symmetry. Set numbers of forces, kept stable by distinct & narrow themes.

When Dark Science was on my TBR list, I assumed this badass cyborg was steaming because she'd just landed from burning orbital re-entry or walked unharmed through an explosion. Delighted to discover- that's partially true, but mostly she ate a key lime hot dog. 11/10, will reread again.

While I agree with your conclusion, I've found both titles to be more deliberately sexy via skimpy than older games. They slim her suit quite a bit; and now the starter suit in Ravenous looks like her power armour is just a high-leg cuirass and arms; her legs look like she's just in the zero suit.

Apostles, clones of the Divine, exist for one reason: to die and be subsumed so their Saints can live a facade of immortality. Apostle Solis has already accepted the nature of his transient existence, a glorified one-time revival for his Saint of the same name, but until then, he is a teacher and he means to do the best he can for as long as possible. After all, his situation is what it is.

River Zhang has thrown his lot in with the questionable motives of the space-dwelling Church of Night Divine, hoping to focus on finding some kind of happiness for himself away from the ordinary struggles of society. He does not expect to become utterly smitten with Apostle Solis, whose good nature and whimsy belie the deep belief that his terrible existence is worth neither loving nor lamenting.

But Solis has work to do, and he's not about to let himself be tangled up in the nuance of deciding whether or not he matters for anything else. And if he happens to form attachments that cause problems for him down the line... well, he can always lie to himself about that, too.

DuckDuckGo has introduced a new feature allowing users to filter out AI-generated images from search results, addressing growing concerns over synthetic content overwhelming authentic visuals online.
The filter can be activated through a dropdown in the Images tab, search settings, or by using a dedicated AI-free domain: noai.duckduckgo.com. The system relies on curated blocklists, including uBlockOrigin’s Huge AI Blocklist, to detect and suppress AI-generated imagery.
While not perfect, it significantly reduces synthetic content visibility. This move sets DuckDuckGo apart from competitors like Google and Bing by giving users direct control over their exposure to AI-generated material.
