I know this isn’t useful but it’s weird how “the president should be coherent” was a Very Important Thing just a few years ago and then suddenly wasn’t.

Because the reforms that are needed are things like expanding the civil service, cutting use of contracting, more mission alignment, making hiring faster, and consolidating legal requirements. The right both wants to make govt fail and is ideologically opposed to a lot of that

Americans are relearning the lesson we learned during the Gilded Age of the late 1890s, when robber barons ran the government and the economy for their own benefit: Oligarchy is incompatible with the common good. I'm hopeful we'll respond with a new progressive movement.

Braindead subbed calls an Incitement to violence "lewd." Take it down, apologize, rewrite it, go back to 5th grade where you can re-take Health class & learn the difference between sex & violence. I cannot believe women have to put up with this stupidity in the 21st freaking century. Fix your words.

Victoria Zunitch @vickizun.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
This article carries a wildly inaccurate subbed that rehabilitates the Snapchat APB that an injured woman could be picked off in the frat house NOW as "lewd." Son, I've known lewd. Lewd has been a friend of mine. That Snapchat text is no lewd message. It's not sexy, not sexting. not tittilating.

Victoria Zunitch @vickizun.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
What an MSNow subbed that euphemises Mass Incitement to Criminal Violence and a Call to Hold a Rape Riot tells you about a media culture that still doesn't operate in a society where women are equal under the law.
010
Victoria Zunitch @vickizun.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
OH NO ABSOLUTELY NOT. "Lewd" is, "Do you want to [!) my (!)." Incitement to mass rape riot by criminals is what that text was. You childishly giggle over the P word when you should be adulting over the "free" word. "Free" here translates to rape. Do I have to explain everything to you people?

Victoria Zunitch @vickizun.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
For Chrissakes, MSNow, it's not "a lewd text." IT'S AN INCITEMENT TO COMMIT A MASS RAPE RIOT. VIOLENT. Not "lewd." Fix the headline full of malice this instant. Get with the program. Learn the difference between sex and violence, or relinquish your 6th grade diploma. Be ashamed of yourselves.

Exactly. Now, cave men who want to drag a woman off by the hair can just do it. By allowing ICE officers to conceal their identities, we are saying that all people must submit to any man or group of men that wants to attack.

Another aspect of the Cornell case and also every sexual assault case that has come up in political work I’ve done: who actually cares about D.A. win ratios? Voters don’t. They do care about whether they see a D.A. fighting for what they think is important, even if they lose

This Cornell 7 case has got people talking. What if a woman or women found a man passed out drunk how would we treat him? The thought of violating someone passed out is beyond comprehension for women but men think it’s fine. This illustrates why women should be in charge we aren’t monsters.

Why do all these articles about rape always say Jane Doe "claims" but they never say "claims" about a guy who was mugged or a Walgreens CEO who says his stores lost money because of shoplifting (later he admitted he lied.) I want all public-facing men tagged with "claims" from now on.

Once I found out about it, I contacted the reporter and asked him to retract the piece--or at minimum add an editor's note acknowledging the NYT reporting about how Jane Doe did NOT tell police that she consented to her rape. Thus far, the publication has refused to do so.
