Viable Paradise @viableparadise.bsky.social · 30/06/2026Most of this, but there is an official VP slack where you can socialize and plan with your own class AND with alumni from many other classes. You don’t need to make your own. 0101

Viable Paradise @viableparadise.bsky.social · 07/06/2026Unfortunately, Arkady Martine is unable to attend the workshop this year. Elizabeth Bear will be moving from writer-in-residence onto the faculty for 2026. 0323

Viable Paradise @viableparadise.bsky.social · 29/03/2026We are disappointed to announce that scheduling issues will prevent Fonda Lee from joining us at the workshop this year. But no fear: James Patrick Kelly, experienced instructor and Hugo/Nebula/Locus award winner, will be returning to Viable Paradise. viableparadise.com/viable-parad... 042

Reposted by Viable ParadiseAllison Pottern @apottern.bsky.social · 16/01/2026"Mother, Darling" got me into @viableparadise.bsky.social. I wrote "Bootcut" soon after. VP showed me there were readers out there for *this* Peter Pan retelling told through the lens of motherhood AND for a darkly funny, violent 2nd POV story about possessed pants. And that I *could* write both. 181
Reposted by Viable ParadiseR. K. Duncan @rkduncan.bsky.social · 09/01/2026I wrote this story in 3 days @viableparadise.bsky.social in 2019. I'd just turned 30. I put it up on the wall with everyone else's then took an exhausted nap, and when I woke up, I was told @tnh.nielsenhayden.com and @pnh.nielsenhayden.com were looking for me.
