Anyone ever use software like OBS Studio to mix video with voice overs and other media and can speak to whether its any good? I've got a hankering to do some goofing around with video editing and was checking it out. I've used audio mixers like Audacity before, but nothing more extensive.

Nothing like having to go outside in the middle of pouring rain and figuring out just where the piping for the basement sump pump has gotten blocked. I couldn't find it, so I cut it where I could and we'll deal with it when the sun returns. For now, my basement will be saved from flooding.

Easy. "Pool of Radiance." I played it on my commodore 64, and it was the first time I stayed up all night gaming. I'd enjoyed games before, but this was when games became a real passion.

An ad for the 1988 computer game, Pool of Radiance, released by Strategic Simulations, Inc. It was the first real Dungeons and Dragons game you could play on your computer, with turn based combat system using the AD&D rules. I am exhaust after a day of paneling and a reading. Lots of fun, but it's really left me feeling deeply out of sorts. Way more face time and conversation than I normally engage in, even at cons, and I find it weirdly more draining than in person panels.
