As a Gen Xer, I can tell you boomers and even my own generation comparing their 20s to today’s 20-30 year-olds needs to stop. I paid $600 for a West Hollywood apartment at 23. Today it’s $3500. Burgers weren’t $20, they were $6 to $8 in a nice restaurant. Life is not comparable.

again, and the dentist won't be doing root canals for anyone with my insurance so he'd have to refer me out anyway meaning I'd have to make one trip for a referral then another for the actual procedure who knows when? Plus the other dentists in that city are also either fully booked or don't take

tooth hurts more than my nose. I book a cheap hotel for the date of my dental appt bc of the limited buses in and out of town. Well. The dentist's office called and cancelled my appt bc now they won't be taking my insurance either. They'd see me... But I'd pay out of pocket for an initial appt

Dental care gripe: so none of the local dentists accept my dental insurance but my tooth hurt so I paid out of pocket for an exam. Th dentist told me I needed a root canal. My case manager suggested getting it done in the closest big city, bc it'd still be cheaper than paying out of pocket locally
