this is horrifying. Sources (could be you or me!) make decisions about whether or not to speak to a journalist based on, in part, do I trust this particular journalist? Do I want to be part of their story? Funneling all interviews into one big source slush fund is absolutely horrifying

Today I walked in the woods. I saw fall warblers & many mushrooms. I overheard women weep about rape culture. Now I will cuddle a dog, have dinner with a friend, then attend an n95-required festival with pals who organize for collective liberation while fascism flourishes. Rage & gratitude, daily.
