"For the record, my biggest concern about the dictated script that was sent to me was not about the death toll. It was about the removal of the allegations specific to Benjamin Netanyahu,” Williams said, in an apparent reference to reports that Netanyahu had received advanced warning that Hamas was planning a deadly attack against Israel.

Raice said she "actually felt really strong" about the decision not to include the reporting, stating that Netanyahu had denied the claims and CBS News had not "independently confirmed those allegations."

"Secondly, I was just in Israel for Sukkot. I have a lot of friends who live there. We're talking about politics the entire time. Everybody was talking about the election. Everybody was talking about Netanyahu and October 7. Nobody was talking about those allegations," Raice added. "And you know why? Because nobody really cares. That is not an issue in the election."

"Those allegations are a sideshow," Raice added. "It's not important, and I just think you got it wrong. And you probably got it wrong because you don't know the story as well as I do. And that's where my experience and my judgment comes in."

This is foul. A reader reached out and told me the first google result when you search "kamloops unmarked graves discovery" is residential school denial. I did the search myself, and I found the same thing. The first non-sponsored result is the Fraser Institute's residential school denial.

Bleak tidbit from Regime Change — Bessent attempted a Hitler-style shakedown of Zelenskyy as one of his first acts as Treasury Secretary

“Bessent’s proposal would require Ukraine to pay the United States 50 percent of future revenue from state-owned natural resources, including hydrocarbons and rare earth minerals. The document prescribed very specific commitments from Ukraine, but offered no security commitments from the United States. Even though the minerals deal had been Zelensky’s idea, part of the “Victory Plan for Ukraine” he had recently unveiled, he was shocked by Bessent’s terms.
Zelensky explained that he was leading his country through a particularly violent phase of the three-year-old war, and insisted that he and his staff needed more time to consider the proposal. Bessent saw things very differently. He had traveled nearly five thousand miles to an active war zone to obtain Zelensky’s signature, and now Zelensky was telling him no.
“You need to sign this,” Bessent urged. “The purpose of this is to show that there is no daylight” between the U.S. and Ukraine.
Zelensky, furious, replied that the document was an attack on Ukraine’s sovereignty. This was not the way international agreements worked—this was a shakedown.”
