Sending love to all fellow survivors for whom being subjected to abuse and violence was/is such a constant, dismissed, normalized experience, that overwhelming self doubt has become second nature. These things DON'T develop in a vacuum and you're not a failure for not being "well adjusted".

Overheard conversations are dangerous in this house. Especially when they're about me. Doing better at not having feelings around certain people, but it's clearly causing (expected) unease and increasing the traps. Not falling back in. Love to everyone setting boundaries. Keep safe.

Never thought getting an unexpected check in the mail could piss me off this much. The delusional letter accompanying it didn't help. My insurance went up by 50% in a single year. The check isn't close to covering my premium for a single month. They really thought we'd be happy with crumbs. #ACA
