I realized I had a small scratch on my thumb and my first thought was “YES I can use a band aid!!” because I got a ton of cute band aids a couple years ago when I was getting regular peripheral IVs at home, but then I got my central line and stopped needing them. I picked “space” ☺️

I would like to take a bath, and I think if I had a bit of support I would be able to. Like someone who can make sure the floor of the tub doesn’t have any slippy soap on it or residue. really I think that’s it haha. If I had that I think I could do it.

I’ve been able to play some Hearthstone again lately 🥰 Not a lot and not well. but I can!! and that is really nice. It’s a digital card game like magic the gathering, with characters from World of Warcraft. I used to be able to hit Legend. Now I lose most of the games haha but it’s still fun!

I have met some amazing wonderful pharmacists, and all of them are over worked and definitely under paid. They are out there helping people while the companies under support them and under staff the pharmacies, and they help disabled people get relief and treatments 💛 they do so much

Tinu had CANCER and was forced to dedicate so much time at the end of her life to crowd funding her hospital bills & chemotherapy. We are doing the SAME to Bex. Tinu’s life was devalued because she was Black & disabled. Don’t do the same to Bex. Bex deserves to live, to rest, to RECOVER.

I was in a book club and we read “me before you” about the cute girl caretaker of the rich neck down paralyzed man and I called out a lot of the ableism. i didn’t know all the terms for why it was wrong but i knew it was wrong. this was before i knew I was disabled and got worse disabled. proud!

i came across a pinterest thing about an anime show and realized I stopped watching it randomly the episode ended with the main character dying really really suddenly At the time it was the last episode available and I was like “huh. that’s a weird way to end a show.” 🫣 apparently it continued

i use the scary celebrex bc period cramps suck and it’s ok occasionally. 2x a day every day is what is giving my mouth and teeth problems. gotta balance relief enough to function with the side effect risks of all my meds anyways. and i need to work one more day before the weekend crash

2.8 years ago I only needed 1L of saline on a cool day. I needed more saline over time as I declined. And also yeah, I needed more saline when the temperature was high haha. I like being able to see these kinds of things. @guavahealth.bsky.social is really cool, even if my illness is not.

haha. My guava app shows my decline in various data. I remember when I was “new” to being this sick and then new to different tracking methods. exploring options. but now I have almost 3 years of data, and I can see my decline. Like needing 1L of IV a day back then to 3L a day now. #NEISvoid

I could have done better in my speech today, now that it’s over and the excitement is past sometimes I am thinking “oh no i forgot to say X” but really, I am just so glad I could do it at all, and get through all the points!! 30 minutes of continuous talking!! I did that, me!! I did a big share!!

my roomie is so fast she’s like a super human to me. I hear the shower on and then the hair dryer and then she’s out the door so fast it is just so fast haha and she does this like every single day?? super human strength, stamina, and speed.

i did a talk today to some people and then i had another meeting later and I had to tell them i used up all my words already at my talk so I cannot anymore haha luckily the meeting leader is cool and gets it and knows me. yay. so I am contribute in the chat i am tired yes yes

anxious coworker / current work bestie she is so cute, she attended my talk about accessibility, AND she made her dad watch it too haha!! His response was “I hope (your team) keeps you” because we are so awesome. the talk went well!! but I was a bit breathless a few times. It was a rough start
