One for any #DoctorWho and #Taskmaster crossover fans... This is niche, but did you recognise the location for the train task in last night's TM? It was previously the Totters Lane junkyard in Remembrance of the Daleks.

Disability can happen to anyone at any time. It’s not due to deconditioning or a moral failing. Many chronic illnesses are the result of a viral infection from which the body never recovers. We need more awareness, treatments & clean air to reduce viral spread. www.bbc.com/sport/athlet...

This guidance is another clear example of the complete unworkability of the Supreme Court judgment, creating administrative labyrinths for already struggling healthcare services, and very likely leading to worse health outcomes for trans and non-binary people.

This Black History Month, we are celebrating the incredible groups and spaces run by and for LGBTI+ BPoC across Scotland (and the UK). So much hard work is put into building these vital spaces of community, connection and solidarity, and they have a huge impact for so many people.

SUPER nasty google account scam mail i just got! It's all from official google senders etc, but attackers can apparently just put a whole message and url in the title field of an app password, using *official google* emails to send you to scam sites! "login here" was a hard tell though, but still!
the scam email, where everything between "this password for your" and ", someone might be using your account" is injected by an attackera normal app password notification email for reference

10th of Owltober! This Great Horned Owl was admitted to West Sound Wildlife Shelter after being trapped in bird netting. His expression says it all. Want to donate to WSWS? westsoundwildlife.org/donate Source: fb.com/243452475656... #owlsintowels #owltober 💛🦉
An ornery Great Horned Owl is seated in a white towel on the lap of a rehabilitator wearing thick gloves and a light grey-pink top emblazoned with the West Sound wordmark. The owl's expression is the highlight, with eyebrows at perfect 45 degree angles. His pupils and irises are half moons, staring up at the photographer with immense fury like he's the lead role in The Shining. Clack Nichowlson of course. The rage is somewhat softened by an unkempt bunch of feathers flared atop his crown like the tines of a mangled spork. A highly menacing spork, but a spork nonetheless.

A page from my grief memoir in progress, cropped for easier reading (in theory). Death and Money, they go hand in hand.
Text reads: My siblings, the Log House, and class are important elements of this backstory. Growing up I felt a lot of confusion about my social class. Dad did well for himself, his business was successful and he seemed to have a natural knack for managing money and using it to his advantage.Text reads: My mother did not. She poured her energy into a perpetually failing small business, limped it along year after year, used child support to pay for our housing and “we can't afford that” was her regular refrain.Text reads: Was I on the bottom rung of the American Dream, gripping white knuckle onto middle class status? Or was I flirting with luxury, denying I was rich while riding in a new SUV and flying out to the Grand Canyon with my siblings? The full page, a collage of early 90s JC Penney catalog images but all the models have either a dog or a pig head. The panels are skewed, shooting off at different angles.
