Canada: "The COVID-19 activity level in Canada is currently moderate" Last updated: October 1, 2026 🔺Alberta (high) 🔺British Columbia (high) 🔺Manitoba (high) 🔺Newfoundland and Labrador (high) 🔺Yukon (high) Source: health-infobase.canada.ca/wastewater/
A webpage screenshot titled "National overview" from a Canadian public health dashboard, displaying data as of September 20, 2026.
The main feature is "Figure 1. Current wastewater COVID-19 viral levels in Canada", showing a map of Canada colour-coded by viral activity level. Territories in the north are shaded in grey dashed lines indicating "NA" (Not Available), while the visible provinces are shaded in varying shades of blue representing Moderate or Low levels. A blue circle in the top left indicates the overall status for Canada is Moderate.
Text below the map states the COVID-19 level in Canada is currently moderate. It notes that 44 sites submit wastewater samples, representing 31.1% of the population. Of those sites, 11 showed a high viral level, 13 showed a moderate viral level, 3 showed a low viral level, 13 had no detection, and 4 were not available.
