A phrase that immediately gets my hackles up is, "As a ..." as if your position automatically lends you sovereign authority over everything. This is a perfect example. And being a GP shouldn't permit an unwavering list of woo-woo pseudoscience. Do better, The Age. www.theage.com.au/lifestyle/he...

As a GP, these daily habits make me feel better at 56 than I did at 26
Early morning movement, an infrared sauna session and homemade muesli are just some of the things that help keep this doctor on track.

Gardasil is one of the key advancements in women’s health and RFK Jr is a misogynist as well as a tosser. I’m personally quite happy to see fewer HPV-driven cancers under the microscope.

Interesting new guidelines for breast lesions with atypia and LCIS variants. Follow up recommendations are significantly de-escalated, including for lesions associated with increased future breast cancer risk. My quick summary table below. The full guidelines: jamanetwork.com/journals/jam...

Millions delay or skip appointments as specialist care become too expensive for many Australians - new research
A submission to a Parliamentary Inquiry by The Australia Institute reveals that seeing a specialist in Australia is now more impacted by a patient's ability to pay than their medical need.
