Venezuelan Twitter is a bunch of people pretending to be involved in politics by tweeting. Teodoro Petkoff used to call these keyboard warriors “paper tigers”. Going out and actually doing something is hard. Looking smart by tweeting is the path of least resistance.

PANEL 3: The same scene, the crab stares at the viewer.

PANEL 4: The crab turns to the side, thoughtfully.

Demand for solar power in Venezuela is through the roof (pun perhaps intended). That’s because the power grid is terrible due to lack of investment and mismanagement, and because it’s sunny all year long. All in all, it’s good news. Hopefully, we can add Gigawatts of solar in the upcoming years. ☀️

It’s a favorite of @profgalloway.com but honestly it can easily be reproduced by any smartwatch manufacturer with its own health platform. There’s nothing stopping Apple, Garmin, etc. from making a HRM (heart rate monitor) ring. Casio could pair their excellent non-HRM watches with a ring, too.

The average Venezuelan cannot afford a new electric vehicle. As a matter of fact, we can't afford gasoline cars, either. Then there's the collapsed electric grid, which makes it hard to plug electric cars. Anyhow, here's a chart to see which country needs more help ourworldindata.org/grapher/gdp-...

GDP per capita is a country's gross domestic product divided by its population. This data is adjusted for inflation and differences in living costs between countries.
