Hey people and the animals they care for, Trump’s Tariffs are going to make the meds for you and your fur baby more expensive. #Vote 😿
We want to make you aware of a potential change that may affect some of the medications we prescribe for your pets.
A new U.S. Customs and Border Protection/FDA policy is scheduled to take effect October 22,2026, which could restrict prescription medications being shipped to Americans from licensed Canadian and international pharmacies. If implemented as described, this may affect our ability to use these pharmacies as an affordable source for certain medications.
Why does this matter to your pet?
Canadian pharmacies are a common resource we use for certain veterinary medications, particularly medications that can be significantly less expensive than purchasing them through U.S. pharmacies. Inhalers are one example. Depending on the medication, inhalers purchased through Canadian pharmacies can cost nearly one-quarter of the U.S. price. For pets who require these medications long-term, that difference can be substantial.
We don't know exactly how these changes will affect individual medications or orders, but we want our clients to have advance notice rather than being surprised if availability or pricing changes.
If you currently receive your pet's medications from a Canadian pharmacy, we recommend:
• Check your current supply and refill schedule.
• Consider ordering an eligible refill before October 22, if your veterinarian has authorized the refill.
• If appropriate for your pet's prescription, ask us whether a larger supply may be prescribed to reduce the number of shipments needed.
• Keep an eye on communications from your pharmacy for updates regarding the October 22 changes.
If you are concerned about your pet's medication supply or have questions about whether this change could affect a medication we prescribe, please contact us before you run out of medication. We will do our best to help you understand your available options.
We are sharing this information because keeping your pet's medications both available and affordable is important to us.
If this cha…

Seeing lots of Stegner signs in my blue neighborhood. 8/6/26 “In the initial three-candidate ballot test, Little received 48%, Democrat Terri Pickens received 27% and Stegner received 11%. In a separate head-to-head matchup, Stegner earned 51% support, compared with 35% for Little.”
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Statewide Poll Finds John Stegner is the Only Candidate with Path
to Defeat Brad Little in Upcoming Election
BOISE, Idaho — August 6, 2026 — A new statewide poll finds former Idaho Supreme Court Justice John Stegner
is the only gubernatorial candidate with a path to majority support against Gov. Brad Little. In an informed head-
to-head matchup Stegner leads Little 51 to 35 percent.
The poll tested multiple ballot configurations, including three-candidate races and separate two-candidate
matchups where respondents first received factual biographies of each candidate.
In the initial three-candidate ballot test, Little received 48 percent, Democrat Terri Pickens received 27 percent
and Stegner received 11 percent. In a separate head-to-head matchup, Stegner earned 51 percent support,
compared with 35 percent for Little.
In a similar head-to-head matchup between Little and Pickens, Little leads with 54 percent of the vote while
Pickens receives 35 percent support. According to Change Research’s summary of findings, Stegner has a path to
victory that other candidates do not. This finding is due in part to Stegner’s ability to garner support from
Republican, Independent and Democrat voters—reducing Little’s share of his own party. Findings suggest that
Republican voters who are disappointed in Little remain unwilling to vote for a Democrat, as Democratic
candidates make no gains among Republicans.
The poll also found an electorate looking for a change. A majority of likely voters (53 percent) believe Idaho is
headed in the wrong direction, while Gov. Little’s favorability stands at 37 percent favorable and 47 percent
unfavorable.
“Idahoans across every party are frustrated with the high cost of living and low quality of leadership,” said John
Stegner. “I am running to give Idahoans a choice they never felt like they had. Our polling confirms that many
Idahoans are ready to retire Brad Little when they learn who I am and what I stand for.”
