I’m a man of a certain age (56) and I have a very vivid memory of going to see the Bayeux Tapestry as a kid. Somewhere in the UK. But I’ve just read on the British Museum website that the current showing of it is is the first time it’s been on these shores for a 1000 years, now I’m confused…
