reminder that if you're migrating here from twitter, be wary of Bluesky's stance on specific kinds of NSFW content (which hasn't changed since Oct 15) They can be notoriously trigger happy when it comes to strikes and bans with this stuff.

Man films and confronts two suspected undercover ICE officers (potentially NYPD) after they racially profiled and handcuffed a random civilian. Keep doing this shit. Make these fuckers famous. Make all police and immigration officers fear having their faces known to the masses.

Working on the new rifle power up for today's #NightmareKart dev thread! This will be the rifle used during the train level. Normally, special 'infinite use' power ups used for story levels run off of aether vials, but that disincentivizes boosting so I'm making this power up drain health instead:

I so desperately want to see a push towards more handmade goods vs. plastic that'll be thrown away later. This is why I'm hand making/printing my own zines now.

I think about this all the time because it became so obvious when people would talk about Evangelion and not understand it, or compare other things to Eva. Anno is so clearly *obsessed* with Mecha, Gundam and Ultraman. To ignore that love is to not understand what deconstruction even means.

“Hoyo already has AI protections, there’s no point in striking” Eight months into the strike, if there was any truth to this, *actors* would know. Unless you think they’re rejecting auditions/coming in to record their characters for the fun of it.

If you need a refresher on what's going on with the interactive strike and why it's taking as long as it is, here's a pretty solid summary of where we're standing now. To further summarize: CEOs of very large studios REALLY want to replace us all with AI. youtu.be/__BfZsfivXo?si=wR-Up6mI4CA6AfHs

nami because i miss her [ #onepiece ]

A drawing of "Cat Burglar" Nami from One Piece. She is in her first time-skip outfit, but with bell-bottom styled pants. She is winking at the camera, and holding her hand up in a pose similar to the "okay hand" emoji. She is coloured in bright colours, and the background is filled with various sorts of colourful shapes.

Sony's handling of Crunchyroll, Funimation, and RightStuf post-acquisition inspires negative confidence in how monumentally they can and will further fuck up the anime, manga, film, book publishing, gaming, etc. industries if they successfully acquire Kadokawa.
