Something I have to emphasize: I was not always an LLM hater. I thought the technology might be able to do great things. I wanted to be impressed. I followed it from the 2000s as we went from Cleverbot to Dall E to ChatGPT. It looked like it was going places.
Instead, it became a source of misery.
