Family owns club. Family also owns State. Family-owned-State-owned companies sponsor family-owned club, at inflated rates to mask payments by family. Family-owned club cheats League. League cries foul. Family-owned-state-owned-company sues League. Just like in the storybooks.

Yeah, the owners of said airline and also owners of Man City, do you really want to piss Premier League off? Would going down to 8th league in the UK be worth it, playing alongside pub football teams?

Yeah, support FA and also SoFurry as both don't allow AI, do offer a vital service for the community and we don't have that many services out there like that, some have fallen to allowing AI and all. We have so little services that are volunteer and do cost a lot of money to run.

Man City CEO going they have reputable evidence. Me: If you did, why didn't that get handed over during the initial investigation right now? If you had evidence to prove your innocence you would use it. Not wait until appeal. I don't think Man City has any such thing.

No maga lot. Two term limit is two term limit. Whether it's served consectivily or it was split. It's just two terms. Constitution wise, Trump cannot run again, he's done. And even if he is willing to break that law. He be dead within 4-10 years.

I do like that idea I heard on radio. Man City gets two options for punishment. A) £150-350m fine, relegated to 6th league aka North League and have to win their way back up. Basically start as a new club again Or B) Stay in Premiership but get fined £1.5-2bn pounds.

Ah, so MCFC CEO is now using the Trump defence. Accounting books don't lie, there's always a way to know if someone has cooked the books.

Skipai Otter @skipai.bsky.social · 17h
Agreed, actual criminal charges should start against said accountants and accounting firm that allowed this to go on within Manchester City club. They're the ones that write the figures into the books, part of a chain and would know who gave the orders to cook the books and all.

Burnham may think UK should join EU again (It's not rejoin as the UK will never get the deal it had last time around, that's gone forever) It will have to give up a few things to appease all members to agree on UK being allowed in as a member and the £ is definitely one thing to go.
