I don’t think I’m ever going to get the appeal of pivoting to video for podcasts. I’ve been listening to podcasts for 20 years, and never once have I thought, my God, I need to SEE these people! I’m on a walk or doing the dishes, I don’t need video.

Welp, I guess there ISN'T hope for us all.

A yellow sticker with a burgundy sketch of Catherine Parr in front of roses. It reads "If Catherine Parr can survive Henry the XIII there is hope for us all." That 13 is their typo, not mine.

Something AI is responsible for that doesn't get enough talk: How, when it scrapes a website to illegally steal everything on it, it uses up a ton of its bandwidth allotment, crashing it or racking up massive fees for site owners.

I feel like there's a cohort of us who got on the internet before "social media" and made all sorts of healthy friendships through forums or livejournal or what have you and thus, while everyone's like SOCIAL MEDIA FUELS COMPARISON AND MISERY we're like, but that's just where my friends live.

It is bizarre to watch people use the words "restorative justice" to center the need of someone who assaulted someone else. You simply cannot talk about restorative justice in this context without centering his victim.

The thing I will probably never understand about wrestling fandom is the idea that someone losing a match means they're ruined forever? It's scripted? Overcoming adversity and coming back after a loss is a compelling story? I mean I want Iyo to win everything but that would be a boring story
