It's Monday. Let's have a Big Eel story. In 1757, fishermen in Yalding, Kent, reported catching a large eel which measured five feet nine inches in length, and eighteen inches in girth, and which weighed upwards of forty pounds! Fishermen would never exaggerate...right? 🗃️🧪
Meme. Medieval marginal drawing showing a man dressed in a blue tunic holding up an enormous eel. He might be examining it, or about to bite into it. Or play it like a harmonica. Or maybe he's about to kiss it. It's hard to tell. He looks like his name is something like Jeremiskis, but that he doesn't care for it. Above him floats the head of a second man, looking down with some degree of alarm. Perhaps because he has no body. Perhaps at the size of the eel. Maybe the kissing is causing him some agita.

Jeremiskis's body disappears into a snake-like tail that serves as an interlinear drawing. He is bald on top of his head, but has curly hair on the sides. His hands look less like they are gasping the eel and more like they are caressing it. This supports a reading of the image in which he is kissing the eel.

It seems that we've interrupted an intimate moment. Perhaps we should awkwardly leave.

Meme text reads:
"Don't worry, baby...
My eel has
length *and* girth"
