I’ve kinda gotten used to it but every now and then I still get caught off guard by how much of a blank slate kids are. I assumed the kid would be excited about her award at school and she had no concept of why it is special to get an award since it’s her first. You really gotta explain everything.

Idk who taught me to do this as a kid: the big pillows are for hot cereal! Think of them as ramen noodles. Lay one(!) down in the middle of the bowl, pour milk (half and half🤌🏾) over it, microwave ~50 seconds, honey to taste. Then mash it up. You could do it cold & crunchy too, but why 😝
