I never want to hear another man say “why didn’t she report it” in response to a rape. The men online are determined to destroy Jane Doe’s life. They’ve attempted to doxx her. They’ve threatened her. Matthew Ingalls is claiming she raped him. The abuse never stops.

Just a reminder: Tillis persuaded the woman Hegseth allegedly raped to come forward with her story, and told her that if she did, it would sink the nomination. She did. At great risk to herself. Tillis then cast the deciding vote for Hegseth. Because he’s a goddamned coward.

My lima bean harvest for the day. The later harvested magenta type in the middle look more of a lavender tone. A few pods had distinctly brighter seeds. I'll compare these to earlier harvested seeds from the same type.

I really wish that people would stop saying "the technology works" WRT LLMs without specifying what exact use-cases it "works" for. The technology sure does emit tokens! Whether it "works" or not for a specific use-case depends on a lot more than just that fact!

White squash (Curcurbita pepo) is a trait due to either a dominant or recessive mutations depending on which varieties you're working with. Squash shape genetics is similarly complicated, with multiple differently inherited mutations leading to the same effect.

There are two ways to make a tomato larger. Make the existing locules (seed/gel volumes) larger, or make the locules much more numerous. Some large tomatoes use the first approach, yielding very wet and messy slices. I've been working with the other approach in my tomatoes.
Two tomato slices. The slice at left is yellow-orange and has four large seed/gel volumes. The slice at right is orange and has about a dozen small seed/gel volumes, with a much larger proportion of dense fruit flesh.

**Lights Out Alert Sunday & Monday Nights** Birdcast is estimating 300-400 million birds will be in flight.
From meteorologist Eric Snitil

**Lights Out Alert Sunday & Monday Nights**

"Heads up birders, I would not be surprised if the biggest bird migration night of the year happens over the next 2 nights. Birdcast is estimating 300-400 million birds will be in flight. That is a lot, but the pattern could not be better for migratory birds. A massive area of high pressure will turn the low level winds from the northeast to the southwest across most of the US. The last time we had anything similar to this in the fall was early October last year when a record 1.25 billion birds were in flight. I doubt we get to that level, but I suspect the number will top 500 million especially Monday night which looks to be the bigger of the two nights. You can help by turning off those outdoor lights on big migration nights, and the next 2 nights is about as big as it gets."

Fun fact: Europa is tiny, about 10% smaller than the moon. Its gravity is 13% of earth's. Its ocean is 60 to 150 kilometers deep, compared to earth's deepest spot, the Challenger Deep, at 11km. Due to its low gravity, the bottom of Europa's ocean is about the same pressure as that of Earth's.
Comparison of the earth, moon, and europa. Europa looks about half the size of the moon (it's 90% the size), and is much much smaller than the earth.
