Today my 14yo son celebrated his birthday with five friends who are one to two years older than him. He explicitly asked for us to leave the flat. When we came back unannounced one friend was playing my wifes piano, two others played Lego and the rest talked. Everything went better than expected 💜

Some people argue AI will be so smart it will “solve” climate change. We already have smart people who solved climate change. The oil industry spent BILLIONS making sure we ignored them. Smart is not enough. AI won’t save us from ourselves. Laws protect people, the environment & our future.

Just a thought, but: I'm pretty sure that the nonsense "push to slow AI's development by regulating it" crap we're hearing from AI CEOs is mostly because they're out of new training data for models, and therefore cannot meaningfully improve the models from where they are now.

The product I'm testing validates a data model and reports errors. As of now there are three places where the amount of errors is shown. They all show different values for the same data model. 😭 We have explanations for two of the values but the third one is a mystery 😭😭 #ThisIsFine
