Yes every woman has been harassed, many assaulted. But every woman has also experienced invisible loss from moments she avoided harassment. She felt a space becoming unsafe, so she left, while men stayed on. And in leaving, she lost: opportunities, experiences, learning, promotions, even simply fun.

I can understand why the features of a supposed AI assistant are compelling. I kinda wanna try it too. But I know too much about how these things work. Do not give a cloud-based agent access to your shit. Especially one from the big tech companies.

This is why you need #testers when you write software 🤦‍♀️ My health insurance gives me 20 euros for new #running shoes if I run 10k / 90 minutes per week for 8 in 10 weeks. I have more than met both goals, yet the app says “didn’t make it ✅” 🤦‍♀️ Probably, because the week isn’t over yet. 😂 #coding

Who takes the notes, organises the dinner? Who carries the mental load of planning, anticipating what needs to happen? These seemingly small tasks add up, taking time and energy that could otherwise go towards more visible opportunities. These experiences are not the same for everyone.

Mass surveillance is not the same thing as mass public recording. People aren't against the second thing. They just want to have a say in how it's used. I'm glad people started recording racist cops. I'm glad people started recording Karens harassing Black people.

Jerry Falade and Jason Arday are two sides of the same coin: a Black person can’t be this smart, so it must be plagiarism/AI/pick-your-poison. AI will make this worse. Every Black intellectual achievement can be dismissed as Claude/ChatGPT with no evidence while the accused suffers the damage.

She can teep me in the chest hard enough to move me back, and I'm 3 to 4 times stronger than most men.🤷🏿‍♂️
