#pole class was great last night. We worked on dragontail and while I'm not there yet I felt strong and confident 🥰

Despite my #ReverseCasualFriday posts I rarely feel pretty in outfits and even more rarely feel the desire to take pictures of myself and share them. Yesterday was an exception. I dressed up, felt like myself and as I came across a nice photo location I had the strong desire to take pictures.

The last two #pole classes were very frustrating because I couldn't get into a shape (brass monkey) which was the starting point for other shapes. Today I took a class which is one level lower than I usually take and not only did I get the brass monkey but even more 🥰

Wednesday is my day off. I started doing it because I need time for myself to calm down and to recharge. The last few months Wednesday was filled with all kinds of chores and my battery got dangerously low. This week I put my own needs first and went for a long walk in the woods alone. I feel better

I can't believe it's finally happening. On Saturday I'll have my first ever #pole performance at the anniversary party of my pole studio. Yesterday I had the final training session and my confidence is somewhere between 😬 and 💪.

I gave my talk "gender diversity belongs to accessibility" at German Testing Day today and dressed up for the occasion. And dressed up to be visible for those who can't yet. The conference takes place in the banking district of Frankfurt and I felt like my outfit fit right in.

I went to a party yesterday and was faced with a full size mirror in an elevator. Seeing myself there gave me an unexpected case of gender euphoria. I saw myself in a way that isn't visible in the pictures but that just felt feminine and right. 🥰

There's a big benefit to training in the same aerial studio as my daughter. While she's training hoop for kids I can do a bit of solo #pole training instead of waiting bored. Unfortunately the "solo room" doesn't have competition poles yet. The old ones flex A LOT when I'm using them 😬 #MenWhoPole
