Is it a problem that the new head of the White House Correspondents' Association is married to a Republican congressman? I think it is, unless the goal of this alleged journalism group is to serve as a branch of the government.

A big reason for Democrats to promise prison time for Republicans in power and the use of the state to undermine the Republican Party as an organization is because our former allies need to believe that someday soon, America will cease to be like this.

I enjoyed The Odyssey (2026) but I have one historical nitpick. The phrase “Jiminy Christmas” is a minced oath for “Jesus Christ”. As the story is set around 1200 B.C. it is unlikely that Odysseus would have said the phrase even once, let alone the dozens of times he says it in the film

When Lindsey Graham appears in a history book, it'll be his prediction in 2016 that the Republican Party would be destroyed for supporting Donald Trump and then a few lines about how he proved it by becoming Trump's toady. That's pretty much it. That's his legacy. Pathetic lickspittle.

The criteria for impeachment is NOT whether the Senate votes to remove him from office. The criteria for impeachment is high crimes and misdemeanors. Has he committed high crimes and misdemeanors? Then the House's job is to impeach. Taking that off the table is dereliction of duty.
