Unpopular theory: Sen. Schmitt absolutely knew he was “incorrect” about his accusation and did not care. He was simply “lying” and hoping that his “accusation” would travel around the world faster than the truth. Just an opinion and a theory. He didn’t count on running into Amy Klobuchar.
