Castlevania demo is neat, but really makes me appreciate the elegance of Metroid. I don't need all this dialogue and voice acting to explain how to use a whip. Metroid gets to the point and stays out of your way. It's part of why I've always preferred it over the Igavanias.

I think YouTube comments are bugged right now. I just got an unrelated comment about Monster Hunter on my Lina video. Then I noticed that a comment I had left a day or two ago on a friend's video had somehow ended up on a Post by a different channel I'm not even subscribed to. Keep an eye out.

I already backed this, but just played the demo tonight and thought it was pretty fun! A little clunky in some ways (camera, wallrunning, stomp + roll in bowls) and I think the bosses are a bit superfluous, but the movement is very solid. If the level design is great, this will be amazing.

Not to give anyone unrealistic expectations, but Big Walk is giving me some of that Outer Wilds magic again. Very enjoyable. It's a great example of how much satisfaction comes from discovering something new in the world that you didn't know existed, even if it's ultimately a bit mundane.

I think I'm just going to pass on all of these extras. $285 for the game + 3 amiibo is an insane amount of money. I could use that on a new figma, or other high-end toy instead. The Chozo statue is tempting though. Nintendo, if you remake Super Metroid, a Mother Brain amiibo would be so cool.

Ravenous wishlist: - better level design, less linear - better score. Dread's OST is bad - cool new movement tech, which the trailer already showed some hints of - I want Samus to be cool, just not *too* cool. Not invincible. - the title screen needs to slowly print "M E T R O I D 6" 🤓

A lot of Nintendo Directs have felt like a waste of time, but I don't get too caught up on it anymore. My backlog is massive anyway. That said, I am 90% expecting Metroid 6 tomorrow and I'll be disappointed if we still don't see anything. Please have better music and a cool art style.

Sorry for work-posting, but why can't Unreal 5.3.2 access the frame range of an animated FBX file?? Animation in UE always begins at frame zero, but my tools need to match the exact frame range from Maya so we know our shots are identical for lighting/rendering. This is very annoying...

I would love to find the original interview these screenshots are from. No real reason other than curiosity, and wanting context on Kamiya's line of sight. I know it's Penny Drake as the Bayonetta "booth babe" for E3 2009 but I've yet to find the footage of this specific interview with Kamiya.

Too many to pick, but I think the highlight for me was the time I pointed out Sonic's broken superglue feet in pre-release Frontiers footage. I was called a *liar* for showing real footage of the game. Of course everyone said it would magically be fixed in the final build. It was not. Clip here 👇

@ all Bayonutters Why do so many people mispronounce the character names? Jeanne, Rodin, Cereza etc. I've heard so many weird ways to say these names, despite the characters in-game pronouncing them consistently the same way, out-loud, with clear English voice acting. Do these people have ears??

I don't know why I have this children's activity book, but if I ever see any of you willingly drawing Sonic T. Hedgehog like this, I might have to bully you.

Finished all of the Revelations DLC for DOOM: The Dark Ages. Terrible title, great expansion. Significant improvement over the original campaign with lots of super tough endgame challenges. Played entirely on the Steam Controller on Nightmare difficulty. It was a learning curve, but felt great.
