I don't think there's a day goes by when I don't look up something on Wikipedia. It's one of the few things that's resisted the process of enshittification. I set up a small monthly donation, just a couple of quid at a time. Every little helps.

Also obvious and often forgotten: underlying maths here changed. A lot of people still analyse politics of Brexit as if the split in the public is still 52/48, with leave both an overall majority and more efficiently spread, with most seats majority Leave. None of that true now

Those who were old enough to vote in 2016 but didn’t also now break heavily Remain. So three forces all steadily pulling electorate in same direction. The politics which makes sense in a 52/48 nation may not make sense in a 40/60 nation. And we are 40/60 nation now.

Stop buying things from American companies. Cancel Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime etc. Stop eating at MacDonalds, KFC, Burger King etc. Don’t use Amazon, Google, Facebook etc. Stop supporting the US economy which is funding the war against Ukraine. Support those who support Ukraine

Trump is lying when he says Zelensky was offered many deals. Ukraine hasn’t been offered ANY deals. They've been repeatedly pressured to make concessions in exchange for NOTHING but a promise to start peace talks. Meanwhile, russia has repeated non-stop that it intends to achieve ALL its goals.

The first Russian diesel cargo heading for the US left St Petersburg on September 22, two weeks *before* Trump announced the deal with Putin, Windward reports. The Greek-flagged tanker Minerva Zen carrying 275,000 barrels of diesel/gasoil is due at the US East Coast around 11–12 October.
