![a post from E.M. Anderson with a one-star review for GroundskeeperWIP, aka the book that became The Keeper of Lonely Spirits, reading, "Zero (point) five stars. everyone is gay, the ghosts have no corporeal form, and the author is obsessed with death and grief. the immortal MC doesn't even look like a hot 25-year-old! I was promised a COMFORT READ but this is MISERY. also what's with all the waistcoats." below the review is a partial aesthetic for The Keeper of Lonely Spirits, with images of faded flowers, a cottage on a hill, an antique diary, yellow flowers, tombstones, a man in silhouette sitting alone, gazing out at the horizon, a sprout growing through a crack, and a mortuary statue of someone kissing the deceased's forehead. A textbox reads, "You get used to it" and "I hope I never get used to being alone." Another textbox reads, "That's what life is. You lose people you love and you love more people and you lose them too and you" [text cuts off].](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:7wdc4zowcyzk6nuoqkvyhyu4/bafkreifbssdgjdgbuot42do7fgsebjeczchkrv7ahhxuxvlnnjg34bavem)
