obvi what he's saying is nuts, but it's equally as bonkers to me that the other men are just. sitting there while he says it. no one challenges him at all or tosses out the "what kind of adversity?" line (a favorite of mine when people say this shit because it makes them have to explain it)

it happened in the dorms on a college campus and the title ix office was not helpful. in fact, they made me feel worse. i know shit was whack due to covid and a lot was happening because of it, but i dont think that justifies the treatment i received. there was never a full investigation

i did see him a couple times after the sexual assault because i just wasnt thinking in a smart way afterwards. part of me hoped i misinterpreted what happened tbh. he ended up leaving the state due to covid closing the dorms and i left the area not super long afterwards because i finished undergrad

i only reported it because friends said i should and, to be clear, im not mad they said i should report it! i think it was advice that came from a good place! in a just world, you should report sexual assault without being made to feel worse, but reporting it did nothing but make me feel worse.

there. the city police were useless because they considered this the job of campus police since it occurred on campus. i did report and all it resulted in was people telling me "sorry but it's not my job" and questions about how a man could let himself be sexually assaulted. nothing came of it
