Let me just say that anecdotally the mood of immigrants on the other side of academia is very much “get out of here, no matter what it takes.” A combination of nativist immigration policy and a complete disregard for higher education. Destroying a sector that this country could be proud of.

Die SPD täte gut daran kritisch zu hinterfragen, wie sie selbst zum Aufstieg der AfD beigetragen hat („in großem Stile abschieben“). Nachdem man Fehler eingeräumt hat und es ein klares Bekenntnis zu einer anderen Politik gibt, kann man dann auch glaubwürdig Symbolaktionen machen.

Warum kommen Medien nicht aus ohne diese unsägliche Unterscheidung von Gemäßigten und Hardlinern in der AfD? In der AfD gibt es keine Gemäßigten mehr. Schon gar nicht in Sachsen-Anhalt. Und Tillschneider ist kein Hardliner sondern ein Neonazi.

Die französische PS ist sehr an der Mitte orientiert. Die PD in Italien sicher nicht klar links. Es haben in den 90ern und 00ern eigentlich alle SD Parteien eine Bewegung weg von linker Politik gemacht (außer in CH). Hier und da gibt es kleiner Korrekturen aber es ist sicher kein deutsches Phänomen

Man könnte das was links ist auch einfach weiterhin links nennen und dafür selbstbewusst eintreten und einstehen. Damit einen Wettbwerb um tatsächliche Ideen generieren wie man den notwendigen Umbau von Staat und Gesellschaft organisiert anstatt darum wer nun die eigentliche imaginierte Mitte ist.

Was nicht ginge ist die Frage: ging der Weg von SPD zu AfD hauptsächlich durch Nichtwahl. Aber darum geht es hier ja weniger. Hinzu kommt Alter: SPD Wähler von 1998 waren im Schnitt ca. 50. Die wären also heute im Schintt 78. Also viele tot und die Gruppe mit eher SPD retention und wenig AfD

Für die spezifische These ob es „geparkte SPD Nichtwähler sind“ muss man Nichtwahl nicht unbedingt messen können. Wenn du SPD Wähler in der Vergangenheit richtig identifiziert hast und heute AfD Wähler und es von der Bewegung nur wenige gibt, dann können sich zwischendrin nicht geparkt gewesen sein

Good comparison. You will want to avoid large chains and super markets. But any local bakery should do. Ideally though in a Wirtshaus combined with a pair of Weißwürste and süßer Senf (before noon). Or with an Obadza. And a Weißbier (Schneider would be my recommendation) of course.

I think it's important that the boys in the Dutch study are much younger than what we usually see (12-16 afair). And support dropped from 40%-20%. So wasn't super high before. In the US, homophobic attitudes have also increased in the last years. But don't know data on that specific age group.

Ich muss es verpast haben, dass führende Politiker:innen von SPD von Grünen die in der CDU weit verbreitete Queerfeindlichkeit angesprochen haben und es als Bedingung formuliert haben sich von dieser Queerfeindlichkeit zu distanzieren, bevor man in eine Koalition gehen kann.

Sidenote: Wenn man "postkolonialen Antisemitismus" eigentlich ausschließlich rechts und rechts-außen findet, sollte man sich vielleicht mal fragen, ob dieses Konzept und Terminologie so sinnvoll sind. Ein postokoloniales Weltbild gibt es in diesen Gruppen ja eher nicht.
