Of course “managed decline” of #BBC is in some senses a political choice. Defunding of c40% 2010-24 by #Conservative + its govt’s political attacks on BBC, plus Lisa Nandy’s, DCMS, #UKLabour govt’s total inaction 2024> are *choices*. Our 2 parties of govt combining to ensure BBC’s decline.
