Fortune’s Weave spoilers are so frustrating. I’ve been playing this game like it’s my full time job, on my third part 1, but because of how strangely non linearly you could experience the game there are still a bunch of different ways you could reveal something I had no idea about.

It’s basically impossible for me to read Episode 9 as anything other than a nostalgic cash grab, but I do think 7 and 7 actually tried to say something about how stories of the past inspire action in the present. The legend of Luke Skywalker pushes people out of complacency and towards resistance.

Kinda bugs me that despite the whole Petra Parker trans Spider-woman trend, I haven’t seen anyone post this page from the old Spider-girl series (it’s Peter and MJ’s daughter, Mayday). So it falls to me, here you go!

I did da thing. Honestly I was antagonistic towards the idea of myself as “kindness”, but I have no arguments against “I never let that make me cruel.” I don’t like the idea of celebrating someone’s death for that very reason, so really I just got self esteem issues.

As someone who really hasn’t liked watching my childhood show slowly be whores out for nostalgia dollars, this is the one project I’m excited for since Legend of Korra ended. I want to see the series evolve, not just be the Aang gang forever. And this is absolutely an evolution. Please be good 🙏

So Avengers Doomsday probably won’t be very good or whatever, but I’m personally more upset that audiences have proven no better than studio executives when it comes to learning the wrong lessons. Most people aren’t cautious because it has no real script, but because it has no real build up.

Whoever said Amazing Digital Circus was for the girls and gays was right because my theater was 90% girls and god only knows what percent gay. Also it was a good finale to a good show. Really hits on a lot of cool themes and emotional moments. I’m glad by lil brother made me watch it.

Been reading Superman the Golden Age. So far it’s naive but makes up for it by being charming and cathartic. I don’t know what it says that even way back in the earliest days of superheroes I still can’t escape Batman.

Action Comics #12. Our story comedically comes to an end with Superman convincing the major to be more strict with traffic laws resulting in Clark Kent getting a parking ticket.

My older brother said the only part of Pokémon he liked was the battles which is pretty fair. But then he just complained about having to read dialogue and it hit me that he didn’t consider the map itself to be a meaningful part of the game. Also he hates reading, but I already knew that.

Update: for years I’ve stood by my position that Pokémon games didn’t get easier we just got better because we’re no longer 8 years old. I am now revising that position, gen 4 might just be unnaturally difficult. I swear Leaf Green was so much easier. Did I just do everything wrong?
