Kinda bugs me that despite the whole Petra Parker trans Spider-woman trend, I haven’t seen anyone post this page from the old Spider-girl series (it’s Peter and MJ’s daughter, Mayday). So it falls to me, here you go!
Jameson says “You were right, Smythe! Your Spider-Slayer is simply wonderful! My only complaint concerns the monitor. It doesn’t give a true picture of Spider-man’s costume, and makes him look sort of…uhhh…feminine.
Smythe: What do you expect from someone who dresses like that?
J: A-are you suggesting that Spider-man is…welllll…you know!
S: Anything’s possible, Mr. Jameson!
J: I never even considered it! It’s one thing to persecute a masked menace— but a minority?! This is just the kind of publicity-grabbing stunt that roof-climbing clown would do to spite me!

I did da thing. Honestly I was antagonistic towards the idea of myself as “kindness”, but I have no arguments against “I never let that make me cruel.” I don’t like the idea of celebrating someone’s death for that very reason, so really I just got self esteem issues.

Few more
Bardock (that’s Goku’s dad) refuses to explain the power of plot armor.
“You’re ignorant, and that’s my fault? Nah.”
Honestly I’d do the same.Scott Pilgrim, in a completely calm and professional manner, loudly requests sex.“An organism that can have sex with anything it encounters…I’m kinda jealous.”“Literally none of this makes any sense to me but I am fascinated.”
Basically the perfect image to add to the “out of context” thread hence why I, in all my brilliance, actively hid it in the back, what is wrong with me?

I’ve got a few
Man trapped under rubble ask “is that a baby?”
Spider-Man responds, “yes. This is indeed a baby” webbed to his chest.Casually asks if the guy behind him has come out yet.
Guy is confused.Totally real Ms Marvel confess to being a white girl this whole time.Spider-Man at a phone booth calling the cops instead of, oh I don’t know, fighting crime. But what kind of mad man would do that?

Been reading Superman the Golden Age. So far it’s naive but makes up for it by being charming and cathartic. I don’t know what it says that even way back in the earliest days of superheroes I still can’t escape Batman.
Action Comics #12. Our story comedically comes to an end with Superman convincing the major to be more strict with traffic laws resulting in Clark Kent getting a parking ticket.
The final panel tells us to look forward to Batman’s big debut in Detective Comics

Filling this out was pretty fun, not just because it gave me an excuse to reflect on my favorite Pokémon, but also because it’s very funny to me that the website thinks Clefable could possibly be my favorite Pokémon because it happens to be my favorite fairy type.
List of my favorite Pokémon by type and generation. I’m not describing the entire list there’s over 210 entries.

I just wanted the big one but they gave me the shiny first
Alpha and shiny Amaura.
It’s a Pokémon. One is big, the other is white when they’re normal blue like the big one.

Been hearing about the horrors of wild zone 17 for a bit so I came prepared with earthquake. I forgot however, that 17 is my lucky number. First time in:
Shiny Alpha Pyroar.
Also my trainer who totally has that shit on. But really the important part is the lion

Caught up a bit on some comics. Why did no one tell me Krypto issue 2 was good? It’s got my favorite kid Lex characterization, the kind that constantly has me ask what the hell is wrong with this kid while also feeling bad for him.
Krypto The Last Dog of Krypton issue 2.
Boy (Lex) holds a hot dog in front of Krypto whilst hiding a bear trap.

Finally caught up on the current Transformers comic (I’m slow). Genuinely love how they brought back gun Megatron and made it actually thematic and impactful instead of just silly. Still kinda silly, but he’s an aura farming king the rest of the time so who cares.
Robot hands holding a gun. It’s literally just a tank with a gun handle and I love it.
The text reads “tell me young one. What did your brothers call you?” But that’s not really relevant to my post.
The issue is Skybound Transformers #13

Full grown adult, wake up 6 am for an 8 hour shift. Boss is late so we lose an hour of work as I stand outside the door to the building, don’t have keys. At least I have you old friend

Secret Six is over and I’m sad because I really liked it. I didn’t really care about Jay before this but now I’m mad because I don’t know when or where his story will continue. Will Jon and Nia get together? What happens to Amanda? It’s a really good series and I wish there was more.

My Pokémon starter tier lost. I may or may not be a bit of a hater on some fairly popular Pokémon.

Just finished Joe Sacco’s Palestine. It’s a comic book about his trip to Palestine and the stories he heard from the various locals. Although not always easy to read, it’s a great book that doesn’t sugarcoat any part of the struggle of living there. Highly recommend.

This is an ad for the current Batgirl book, because it’s really fucking cool. There’s only 2 issues right now if you’re not already reading, do me a favor and fix that. You’ll be told just about everything you need to know about the character in the first few pages so no excuses.
