Oh so a fundamental section of a necessary discovery was recognized by the woman interacting most with it .. not the credentialed “scientists” And it’s being shown that the person with privilege kept lying This isn’t common at all

There is never a "one size fits all" in life. The more viable* options available to all, the more likely you are to benefit everyone. *viable: public and accessible public transit that works in practice, rather that be a check mark on a list, for example.

So we don't get to be "the fun ones," and we don't get asked back, because when our official duties ended, we didn't go to the bar to join the after-hours social party. It's not required, not mandatory, but the social impact is very real.

I have been a guest at conventions where, during the pre-con walk through, my handler has pointed out the bar and mentioned how some guests are "more fun" and "get asked back," then names only men. Because a lot of female guests aren't comfortable hanging out around alcohol with strangers.

Trades. crafts, apprenticeships all gaining in respect as alternatives to absurdly expensive college ... unless the trade in question is perceived as women's work. Cosmetology doesn't pay as a craft/trade because it is licensed & regulated in a way that ensures it doesn't.

Buried in this story that everyone’s leaving out of the conversation is that he blames Jews for creating the FDA to ban “holistic” health treatments and make everyone sick to profit off of them. It always, always, always comes back to antisemitism. It’s the core that rots everything from center out
"In 1933 when the Rothschilds FDA came along the first thing they went after was radium water... not vaxxines [sic], dirty electricity, or pesticides," he wrote in the video's caption. "Gee I wonder why... healthy people don't yield large profits."

If you’ve read about TN this week, please take a moment with this piece if you didn’t read it when we published it: It’s an investigation into the execution team Alabama has put together. It’s officers with a history of violence who choose each other. Eye-opening to what happens in executions.

In Alabama, Prison Guards Accused of Violence and Misconduct Carry Out Secretive Executions - Bolts
As Alabama keeps details around the death penalty hidden, an investigation into its execution team raises questions about how incarcerated people are treated in their final moments.

“The share of workers who’ve been out of a job for 27 weeks or longer now stands at 27%, the highest since 2015 outside of the Covid-19 pandemic. The median spell of unemployment lasts about 11 weeks, and the average is more than six months, suggesting rising levels of long periods of joblessness.”

It’s rarely been harder for people to find new jobs
The unemployment rate is low by historical standards, but the job market is anything but dynamic.

Data center construction has migrated to places of low resistance: poor, often Black areas where corrupt deals are commonplace and the harms to residents invisible. Lowndes County, Alabama, in the heart of the Black Belt, is one of those places. 🧵 prospect.org/2026/10/01/d...

What a surprise, the organizers of the covid cautious dyke bar hated the article, rejected its framing, and is defending their covid cautious patrons and performers. Anyone who joined in on the viral harassment campaign started by Jesse Singal wanna say oops or…? recorder.com/2026/09/24/g...
Current and former owners of Last Ditch could not be reached by phone, email or social media. However, Last Ditch did share on Instagram that the Globe story allegedly misconstrued statements from Noire, and urged community members to stop harassing Noire.
"It is neither productive, progressive, nor valiant to attack a Black patron. He has been a collaborator and performer of Last Ditch for a while, and he deserves to speak his mind about accountability and repair from the bar," the Last Ditch statement reads. "There are so many misconceptions due to the disorganization of the Globe article. He did not call for the bar to be firebombed. Further, he did not disparage the owner for being homeless.
"As a result of this abysmal journalism, he has been getting additional threats, slurs, harassment, and is being reported to the police over something he did not do," Last Ditch continued. "This is not supporting us at Last Ditch, and it is, at its core, anti-Blackness hysteria."

Aaaaaaanyway this whole thing is a perfect example of how disabled and chronically ill and marginalized people are forced out of society and then if they make a tiny enclave together where they try and make space for each other the society that forced them out tells them they can’t have that either.

A story that contains these two points is coming from an EXTREMELY specific point of view - and not one that has empathy in any way. “relaxing their signature policy in the face of what commenters consider an ongoing pandemic (Greenfield hasn’t reported any COVID cases in more than two months).”
